These 10 things are inevitable, it is the common denominator of all human life.

1. Birth: There was such a time that we did not exist and had to be born into this world.
2. Death: The very end of life – it is predicted our physical universe will end as well in what is called the “big crunch”.
3. Love: The emotional and mental state of affection and commitment towards others, our passions and aspects of our world. It is the drive for connection and long lasting bonds.
4. War/ Conflict: From the internal disagreements in the mind, to conflicts with others, among nations that fuel war and hostilities towards one another.
5. Hope: the drive for human accomplishments and adventure – the desire and capacity to work towards a positive future despite challenges.
6. Faith: belief or trust in something – could be a higher power, an idea, other people, or things – from which we draw meaning on how to live our life, find our purpose and determines the framework for our relationships.
7. Chance: the unpredictability of life and randomness. By chance some have found a fortune whilst others have lost their lives.
8. Evil/ Injustice: The dark side of human life and nature, everyone will experience it or observe it. It manifests through our behaviours to ourselves and others and through societal structures, causing different degrees of harm and unfairness.
9. Good/ Justice: The recognition and pursuit of what is right and fair, irrespective of our background. The quality that drives kindness towards ourselves and others and the desire to work towards correcting evil and injustice.
10. Uncertainty: Truth/ Doubt: There is a limit to our knowledge – there are things we know for certain (we do not need any guru/ teacher to tell us) and there are some things we just do not know (yet) or never will – it is a struggle with knowledge, belief and understanding. Logic/ common sense can sometimes aid us in assessing the truth of things.
